A motor sport evening in Quebec
The Gilles-Villeneuve museum receives the fans
The motor sport evening organised last tuesday in Quebec by the Gilles-Villeneuve museum was a complete success.
The fans present at the Galopin restaurant, partner for this event, were able to meet the talented driver from Quebec, Mikaël Grenier, recipient of the Bertrand-Fabi trophy handed over recently to the driver who have been the most distinguished, in 2019, on the international scene. The Stoneham’s driver rivals on the races well known and mythical of Monza, in Italy and Brand Hach, in England. A very spicy serie!
The guests were also able to hear Simon Dion-Viens, from Kamouraska, Nascar Pinty’s driver, another racing enthusiast. François East, president of Rallye Sport Quebec and all the members of the Canadian vice-champion rallye 2019, Marilou Leblanc and David Bérubé.
Next year
For the Gilles-Villeneuve museum director manager, Alain Bellehumeur, this fundraising activity in Quebec will have a sequel next year. The museum wants to be recognized in this corner of Quebec. » We wish to create many opportunities to meet motor sport fans from here, people as passionnate as us », said the director manager of the museum, Alain Bellehumeur.
In addiction to the nice discussions with the guests, an auction bringing together many signed collectibles from many drivers of yesterday and today caught the attention.
Remember that the Gilles-Villeneuve museum, open every day, welcomed his 300 000th visitor last summer!
