A founding member has left us

The Gilles-Villeneuve museum loses an early volunteer. Gaétan Savignac, member of the museum's board of directors, died a few days ago at the venerable age of 94. He was taken to his final rest this Thursday, June 13, 2024.

A volunteer for more than 40 years with the organization, Gaétan Savignac was a photographer. Over the years, he took hundreds of photos for the museum. For him, as for the other members of the Berthier-Villeneuve committee which has overseen the museum since 1988, he has always admired the talent and personality of Gilles Villeneuve.

His dedication to our company is remarkable. The entire museum team pays him a final tribute, in particular by sharing with you a never-before-seen photo, that of Gaétan Savignac with his idol, Gilles Villeneuve.
